12/13/09 The Polar Express arrives at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum’s Family Day from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Everyone will become a passenger on the Polar Express. Each guest will receive a Special Train Ticket to enter a land for all those who believe. Join us in your own pajamas for a Pajama Party, participate in crafting your very own edible Polar Express train and enter a coloring contest. Don’t miss this exciting and educational family day! Activities included in admission price.

The San Diego Model Railroad Museum is open Tuesday-Friday 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Children under 15 years old are free, adult admission is $7.

Darwin: Evolution|Revolution (San Diego Natural History Museum). 11/07/09 – 2/28/10 Explore the life and work of Charles Darwin, the biologist whose revolutionary theories on natural selection and evolution changed the face of science forever. This year marks the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth and the 150th anniversary of the publishing of On the Origin of Species. $10-$16 (museum members are free).
